Go to church to play or pray?

Should children, babies attend church? Sunday service? Should they be with their parents.. I know that some churches even how service for children!! That's brilliant!! Because they might get bored with the service.. And what about babies?? Should parents wait till they grow up and then go to church! Or they all just go, it doesn't matter that the little one will cry.. it is a living person it is his way of expressing himself! Once one lady said to me: if I hear a baby's voice in church I know there is a life! It makes the service better!! And I agree with that, I know it's a bit annoying when babies cry and it is stressful for mother BUT doesn't take you a way from God? When I was little I went to church with my granny, I wasn't interested in service, I liked the singing thou but I need to stay there till the time she said we are going home! Today I came I cross with totally different point of view! I went to church and after 10 minutes or something all children went away.. for service? NO! To play!!!! How nice is that? Literally I would be playing with my baby all the service, I wouldn't even hear it!! Because my baby is always good at services I thought I WILL GO TO THE SERVICE!! You should see the expression of face of grown ups when I said that!! It was like: don't go there! She will cry! You will disturb the rest!!

I still went there and you know? She was sleeping all the service!!

So what is best? Go and be in church with children or go to church to play with your children??
